I overcame my fear of public speaking by volunteering to give impromptu speeches at local community events. At first, it was daunting, but I approached it systematically. I joined a public speaking club, where I practised regularly and received constructive feedback. I also recorded myself to identify areas for improvement and gradually built my confidence. The turning point came when I focused on storytelling—sharing personal anecdotes made me more relatable and eased my anxiety. Now, I enjoy public speaking and mentoring others who share the same fear.
